BOARDING Our facility has large stalls that are cleaned daily 6x per week and alfalfa hay is fed 2x per day.
We have 3 stall options: 14x18 covered ($250), 14x36 covered ($300) & barn stalls with outdoor runs as large as 20x40 ($300-350).
We also have lots of amenities, including:
• large 150x300 arena with lights • small arena/turn-out • 2 round pens & 2 wash racks • individual tack closets • air conditioned rec room with wifi, billiards, snack/soda machines, foosball, fridge/micro & more
We also have a "School Horse Program" which can lower board to as low as $175mo and adds many perks like exercise, turn-outs, supplements, salt blocks, fly spray, clipping, bathing & more for free in exchange for letting the horse be used in our lesson program (approved horses only).
LEASING Horses are available to lease by students only. Once students have demonstrated understanding of the basics of horsemanship, they may be approved to lease one of our horses.
Our goals in leasing are to develop the bond between rider and horse that only comes from additional time together outside of lessons, to give our horses additional love and care, and to give our students additional practice time and joy.
Horses know when it is there job (lesson time) and when it isn't (leisure riding). We have lots of horses and can't spend enough leisure time with them all, so we offer very inexpensive leasing to students who are ready for the responsibility of caring for a horse.
Leasing includes unlimited use of our equipment and the horse when it is not in lessons. It also includes first choice of that horse for lessons and events. If the horse is put up for sale, the leasing student also has first refusal of the option to buy that horse. In addition, discounts for horse usage at outside events are given to leasing students.
Leasing also includes a second choice horse. If the first choice leased horse is being used, the second choice alternate may be taken out instead. If both horses are being used, then an instructor may assign another alternate horse.
Leasing is month-to-month, so no contract is required; however, if a student ends a lease, then that horse is available for lease to someone else.
Cost: $100 mo plus lessons (four minimum = $120)
If a student has less than four lessons per month, the $220 is still expected or the lease is terminated. If vacation or sickness prohibits taking the required four lessons, then arrangements for make-up lessons are always available.
